'Silicone Landscape'
Silicone Sculpture
Silicone pieces: 5 - 40 mm
The work began in form as a series of silicon spikes, which expanded to groups and then landscapes of silicon.
The shiny new gleaming silicon was put in different contexts to create juxtaposition such as, in dirty, dull corners.
Using scale, the work took on new life, and creating an enigmatic dimension to it, causing the viewer to question both the material and scale of the landscape.
Microscopic images were also taken which instigated more uncertainty.
